    I've had that old username since I was 12, and dA was the only place I ever used it anymore. =P I also just wanted to clear out and start a new gallery of my better work without losing all my old comments and journals and stuff.

    Ahh. Okay, that makes sense! Often I've known people to switch to get a different crowd of viewers (but then the journal announcing your switch wouldn't make sense) or otherwise because they've changed their artistic style/interests, and it's a fresh new account for the new stuff (but then you wouldn't have uploaded most/all of the old stuff), so that didn't add up either. Was just curious, and it makes more sense now! ;)
